## What Landed is

Landed is a UK-to-UAE relocation and career platform. It exists because the
"double leap" - changing country and changing job at the same time - is
usually attempted with a headline tax-free salary figure and not much else.
Landed replaces that with modelled numbers: what a UAE package is actually
worth once housing, education allowances, school fees and real living costs
are netted off against current UK take-home pay.

The product is a free tool layer over curated 2026 UAE datasets, with a paid
done-with-you layer above it. The free tools - job-move diagnostic, salary
comparator and benchmarks, Golden and Green Visa eligibility checkers, school
matcher, cost-of-living and freezone comparators, move task planner - are
usable without an account. The paid services put a human in the loop.

## Who it is for

Tech, consulting and finance professionals (and their families) moving from the United Kingdom to the United Arab Emirates - Dubai, Abu Dhabi or Sharjah - either to land a role with a UAE employer or to set up a business locally.

## How the work is shown

Proof over claims. Tool outputs are derived from stated datasets rather than
asserted: salary figures are blended from published salary guides and live UAE
offers and every dataset page carries its own last-verified date. UK tax logic
uses 2026/27 income tax and National Insurance bands including the personal
allowance taper, so the arithmetic can be checked against HMRC bands directly.
Visa checkers encode the published eligibility rules - the two-year tenure rule
and the basic-salary definition for the Golden Visa, the AED 15,000+/month
salary and freelancer routes for the Green Visa - rather than summarising them.

The paid UAE Move Plan is founder-reviewed rather than fully generated, and a
complete sample is published at https://www.landed.guide/move-plan/sample so the deliverable can
be inspected before purchase. Fourteen long-form guides covering tax, banking,
pensions, visas, property, schooling, healthcare, job search, offer negotiation
and city choice are free to read in full, and each is served as plain markdown
at the same URL plus `.md`.

Landed is built by a team who made the UK-to-UAE move themselves; the guides
are written from that, not researched at a distance.

## How it works

1. **Diagnose** - Run the free 7-minute UAE Job Move Diagnostic. It returns a go/no-go verdict, a target salary range in AED, your likely visa route and a 90-day plan - no account required.
2. **Model the numbers** - Compare UK net pay against a full UAE package using the salary comparator, benchmarks, cost-of-living and school-fee data, so the decision is made on real figures rather than headline tax-free salary.
3. **Plan the move** - Generate a free 20-28 task plan, or buy a founder-reviewed UAE Move Plan covering visa route, UK tax exit, schools, areas and a 90-day calendar.
4. **Land the role or set up** - Career Sprint repositions your CV and LinkedIn for UAE hiring and builds a target-employer outreach sequence. Founders use the freezone comparator and setup guides instead.
5. **Execute** - Golden Visa Path and Concierge take the paperwork end-to-end for those who want it done for them.
